ALK-Abelló take their purchasing online

ALK-Abelló, a Danish pharmaceutical company specializing in allergy vaccines, now make their purchases electronically using IBX' e-procurement solution. The electronic standardization will significantly enhance the efficiency of ALK-Abelló's purchasing process. The solution will handle electronic purchases of indirect goods and services worth DKK 20m per year.

ALK-Abelló has recently launched their electronic purchasing system; and approximately 5,000 purchase orders for indirect material and services will annually be routed through the e-business portal. The goods and services have an approximate total value of DKK 20m - a quantity that is likely to increase in the future. The deployment of the system has been an instant success.
