LEGO® Group chose IBX to increasing contract compliance

The LEGO® Group and IBX have announced an agreement where IBX will provide eProcurement solutions and consultancy services to the LEGO Group for the next three years in order to develop the LEGO Groups electronic procurement processes. The main ambition is to improve quality and efficiency in the procurement processes across the global LEGO enterprise.

The LEGO Group has made substantial efforts during the past few years in order to create and manage a spend management program. As a part of this program, an e-procurement solution has been established to improve the efficiency of the procurement of indirect materials and services. In the future, the LEGO Group aim to use electronic procurement as the main tool in order to reach and maintain increased efficiency and cost savings through the procurement of indirect materials and services across the entire LEGO enterprise.

The agreement with the LEGO Group runs over three years and comprises all services of IBX, including deployment and maintenance of electronic catalogues for procurement, implementation of IBX's tools along with electronic integration of the LEGO Groups selected suppliers. The agreement also gives the LEGO Group the opportunity to integrate it's subsidiaries with the central part of the purchasing solution.

In the first half of 2005, IBX has experienced substantial growth in the entire Nordic region. The company has received a whole range of new important clients such as SAAB, Helse Øst, Skanska, Lundbeck, Lufthansa, M-Real and Stora Enso.
